I'm Yuka, a first-year PhD student in Information Science at Cornell University, advised by Susan Fussell. My research focuses on how people perceive and verify the accuracy of information using LLM tools in their daily lives, such as ChatGPT. Broadly, my interests lie in AI-human interaction and AI-human collaboration.

Before joining Cornell, I gained experience as a front-end engineer and user experience designer at Foxconn and ASUS, primarily focusing on AI products such as Smart Shoes, the Zenbo robot, and AI Speakers. Additionally, I conducted research at the Psychology and Design and Innovation departments at National Taiwan University. I hold a master's degree in Communication from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, where I was mentored by Chen-Chao Tao.
